Online Instructor Course - Follow this link for more information
Dr. Elena Qureshi, Instructional Designer
This five week online training course is designed for faculty who know they will be teaching an online course in the near future. It aims to teach you the critical skills and theories necessary to teach a successful quality online course. The course is taught completely online for 5 consecutive weeks, thus giving you a broad range of experiences, from those of an online student, to those of an online course designer to those of an online instructor. Prerequisite: Instructors planning on taking this online training should be familiar with how to use Blackboard. Taking a basic Blackboard 101 training workshop prior to the OIC course is strongly recommended. The course will run from Sept 26th through October 30th. Those who are interested in taking the training have to seek a permission to participate in the training from their Department Chair and College/School Dean.
